Arrowhead Lake is a private, gated community in the Pocono Mountains with fantastic amenities making it an ideal vacation destination for laid back family fun. The community features 2 lakes perfect for swimming with four sandy beaches, playgrounds and boat launches, and not one, not two, but three heated pools (all with separate kiddie pools and more playgrounds). Arrowhead has tons of community events planned throughout the year that truly make visiting here a unique and memorable experience. The Lodge at Arrowhead Lake is a stunning building situated on lakefront property. It offers lakefront lounging, BYOB dining, and a jam-packed schedule of activities—from live bands to yoga and story hours.

Dive In, Make Waves!
Arrowhead Lake is home to two stunning lakes, each boasting inviting beaches, where adventure meets relaxation. The best part? These beaches don't have the shore crowds (or traffic!)
Arrowhead's beaches aren't just any sandy shore; they're a place to make lasting memories with your family and friends. The beaches all have playgrounds for kids, bathrooms for convenience, boat launches for kayaking, paddle boarding, or fishing adventures, and classic snack bars with ice cream, hot dogs, drinks, and more — everything you need for a perfect day by the water. As you lounge, you can take in the sights of various floats dotting the waters, from loungers to creative inflatables. If you're bringing a large float, it's wise to have a paddle handy in case you drift too far.

If you're staying with us we have a tandem kayak and life vests you are welcome to use - and if not, you can rent boats (as well as paddle boards, bikes, and fishing gear) at the Rental Shack.
While the beaches don't allow pets, your 4 legged companions can still enjoy the water from a boat or private shore. Boating enthusiasts can explore the lakes using electric or manual boats, maintaining a quieter atmosphere with a no-gas policy.
Beyond the lakes, Arrowhead offers three heated pools —the Island Pool being the star attraction. Located on the Island Pavilion, built in the middle of the larger lake, it has stunning 360 degree lake views and a kid-friendly zero-entry side. Kids love to splash and play under the mushroom water fountain. All pools have additional playgrounds and separate (heated) kiddie pools. Check the ALCA site for pool hours and special events, like adult-only swims and themed night swims.
Island Pavilion & The Lodge: Community Activity Hubs
Arrowhead Lake's Island Pavilion and Lodge are bustling centers for community engagement and family fun.
The Island Pavilion is buzzing with activity during community events. Some of our favorite events at the island are the bonfires. Usually scheduled on select Saturday nights, the bonfires bring back memories of old fashioned fun. Bring glow sticks and let the kids play on the playground at night, they are bound to make new friends and have a memorable time. Dance to the live music under starlit skies and roast marshmallows at the fire.
Another favorite event at the Island is the 4th of July fireworks display. Our place, Lake Breeze Hideaway, offers a prime viewing spot for this yearly spectacle, but if you're not staying with us you can view this unforgettable show from the Island.
If that's not enough - at the Island Pavilion there are tennis, basketball, volleyball, bocce, horseshoe, and shuffleboard courts!
At the Lodge, an array of activities are typically planned. BYOB and enjoy lakeside dining - bring your own and use the grills to cook up something tasty, order from the cafe menu, or catch special menu nights like pasta nights.
Arrowhead is a year-round destination and the island isn't only fun in the summer. Be sure to catch the beautiful Winter Wonderland showcase starting late November. Community volunteers put on this holiday event inside the enclosed pavilion and it features lights, holiday displays, a Christmas tree forest, trains, and more. In fall, be on the lookout for the Fall Festival weekend at the island with farmers markets and pumpkin carving. Halloween weekend the island parking lot transforms into a spooky scene for a lakeside trunk or treat.
The calendar is peppered with seasonal and holiday activities at the lodge, from the Easter egg hunts to breakfasts with Santa, and spooky Halloween dance parties.
